Junior Board

The Junior Board of Avenues for Justice is dedicated to supporting the organization's mission to keep kids out of prison. The purpose of the group is to raise funds to support the services provided by Avenues for Justice, to increase awareness of Avenues for Justice in its members' social and business networks, and to create an exciting environment where young professionals can deepen their understanding of community issues, gain governance experience and socialize. 

Member Opportunities 

• Meet thoughtful, engaged young professionals with an interest in social impact 
• Organize major fundraising events and invite your friends 
• Attend educational and social quarterly junior board meetings 
• Recruit passionate new junior board members 
• Participate in volunteer activities (field trips, tutoring, court visits) to gain exposure to the inspiring work of Avenues for Justice 
• Attend and support the AFJ annual Gala
